The Miss Cameroon USA Pageant would like to Congratulate Miss Valerie Ayena who represented Cameroon at the recently concluded Miss World Pageant in Indonesia. This was the first time that the Republic of Cameroon participated in the Beauty Pageant which today ranks as one of the top two Pageants of the world in comparison to its counterpart Miss Universe.
This indeed is a breakthrough for Cameroonian Fashion, Beauty and Entertainment Industry. Cameroon is now taking its place on the world Map and leaving its mark. Miss Valerie Ayena who was crowned Miss Cameroon at the Nation’s Capital Yaounde just weeks before the Miss World Pageant, left no stone unturned by seizing every opportunity to rise to the top.
Miss Cameroon featured in the Top 10 Talent by playing the drum and dancing to her own drumbeats to the amazement of the judges and the audience. She began to draw attention from famous bloggers such as Missology who cover the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants, she was seen as one of the favorites to walk home with the crown.
The same week, she also featured as one of the Top 10 Fashion Model along side Miss South Sudan who were the only two Africans to reach Top 10 in Fashion. All along she would update her facebook page to keep her fans informed and updated with her progress.
She came across as someone with a very bubbly personality and has such a beautiful smile. Her photos soon became viral as proud Cameroonians continued to share her story.
