Pridine Fru is a host, actress, producer, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. Pridine Fru was born in West-Africa Cameroon in Bamenda town to David and Justina Fru. Pridine arrived in the United State of America in 1996 where she lived a life of involuntary servitude. After several years in America, Pridine Fru attended Pontiac northern high school and continued on to EMU (Eastern Michigan University) where she majored in communication with a minor in psychology and theatre acts.
Soon after graduating from EMU, Pridine enrolled at Specs Howard School of Media Art with a concentration in radio, video and film production. During this time, she acquired an internship with WXYZ and WJBK News Detroit while working at DG-Fast Channel. While living in Detroit Michigan, Pridine hosted “One the corner show”, “Who wants to be a star” and was a principal actor in a short film with A SqaurePeg Round Creation Production. Pridine made her debut as a stage actress on the Hit Stage Play “He Said She Said” featuring Bro Man from the 5th floor from the Martin Lawrence show, Comedian Hope Floods from “BET” and Kim Whitley from movies such as “Next Friday” and “College Road Trip” Since then, Pridine has been featured in other movies such as ‘Sister Dearest” and “Unconditional Love”.
Pridine’s ultimate goal while attending Eastern Michigan University and Specs Howard School of media acts was to pursue a career as a talk show host. Pridine’s experience and knowledge in the media and film industry has led to the creation her own production company called Prez-Dyne Production. Under Prez-Dyne Productions, Pridine is currently producing “The Pridine Show”. A forum for “Empowering, Entertaining and Educating Generations. In 2011, CEA (Cameroon Entertainment Awards) nominated “The Pridine Show” as one of the best online shows of the year.
Currently, Pridine is working on a master degree in Mental Health and counseling at Bowie State University. When she is not charming the audience with her charismatic personality as the host of “The Pridine show” and as on screen actress she is busy writing her next movie, running her beautiful supply store, empowering, and motivating the younger generation to work hard to reach their full potential.
